Clayton and Amie — The Wedding

It was a beautiful day. I have had the best wedding weather lately and I am loving every minute. Amie and Clayton had a beautiful ceremony and such loving friends and family to share their day it was really nice. This was my first time photographing a wedding at England Hill Baptist Church and I loved it. It had such beautiful stained glass windows that I could not resist using them in a couple of portraits. Richard and Ashley — The Engagement

Ashley and Richard met me in front of the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland for their engagement session. Imagine my excitement when they told we were actually going to go inside for their session. Technical Difficulties

June 23, 2009

My website has been hacked. I am so angry right now. Why would anyone do this? It just makes no sense to me. So, my main site, portraitsbyteresa.net has been hacked. My weddings site, portraitsbyteresaweddings.net and my blog are fine. I am working with my host now to fix this. Hopefully, it will all be taken care of within the next 72 hours. Carson — A Baby Session

Morgan and Tony had a baby. I was so excited when I found out they were going to have a baby and even more so when I got the email that the baby was here. He is now 2 months old and didn’t want to sleep much but he was such a good baby. He didn’t get very fussy and his dad was able to quickly calm him. He sure does have a way his little boy. My oldest and best friend, Teresa (yes, her name is Teresa too. But, I am Teresa #1 and she is Teresa #2) has two wonderful kids. She has done an awesome job raising them. Well, last weekend, they both graduated from high school. I had to be there. So, I decided to document this very special day for them. This is their graduation story. Jeremy and Marie — The Wedding

Jeremy and Maria were married last weekend. It was a beautiful wedding. It looked like we were going to have blue skies all day until the ceremony started. Which would have been so awesome but just as the doors were opened and Maria was coming down the aisle, it became obvious that it was not going to happen as it was pouring. No worries though. Rain on a wedding day is supposed to be good luck. Plus it stopped by the time the ceremony was over and we were able to do some portraits outside after the reception. I had a blast and loved hanging out with their families. Shaneé and Jabari — The Romance Session

First, I have to say thank you again to Shaneé and Jabari for making the trip from Texas to do this session. Not only did they make the long trip but they also got up and met me at Harris Riverfront Park for the session at sunrise (that was 6:12 am). But wow, it was so worth it. They looked great and we made some beautiful pictures. We also went to Marshall University and to Ritter Park and since we were there and the Rose Garden was available we took some pictures there as well.
