First, I have to say thank you again to ShaneƩ and Jabari for making the trip from Texas to do this session. Not only did they make the long trip but they also got up and met me at Harris Riverfront Park for the session at sunrise (that was 6:12 am). But wow, it was so worth it. They looked great and we made some beautiful pictures. We also went to Marshall University and to Ritter Park and since we were there and the Rose Garden was available we took some pictures there as well. That was one of the advantages of getting up at sunrise, every where we went was pretty empty of people. To see their romance session slide click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

Shanee': I love the pics! You did another great job. I'm in awe... Thank you so much. I think you've been tagged as my familys photographer.

Ivan: Love this spread.. very romantic, super cool location and I love the skin tones.

If you have been following my blog for a few year you will definitely recognize Mickey. I photographed her senior pictures and now I get the honor of photographing her upcoming wedding. But before that day comes I had fun hanging out with her and Michael at Carter Caves for their engagement session. To see their engagement slide show click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

Mickey and Michael thanks for driving out to Carter Caves and endulging me. I can’t wait for your wedding.

These last few weeks have been difficult for outdoor sessions but wow, have I been lucky. Scott and Jennifer were the most recent beneficiaries of that luck when we even ended up with blue skies for their engagement session. We met at Lake Vesuvius and did some walking around the lake and to the Rock House. To see their engagement slide show click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks you two and I can’t wait for your wedding.

We have had non-stop rain for weeks and I had only a couple of sessions scheduled for outside. Each day I would watch the weather channel and check the news and hope for no rain or at least for the rain to hold off until after the session. This family was one of those sessions. Wow, were they prepared. They had towels to dry benches or to sit on, just in case and I had umbrellas in the car again, just in case. We used the towels but lucked out and missed the rain so there was no need for the umbrellas. What a cute family. The kids were distracted by our oh too friendly (read hungry) pigeons and squirrels) but I managed to get a couple that I really loved. Here are a few of my favorites.
