Matt and Shellie are parents. I photographed their wedding in 2006. It was beautiful and they are an amazing couple. They are still amazing but there are now three of them. Jacob was wide awake and alert. I could almost see him saying at the end “enough already Lady!” Here are some of my favorites.
Becca and Todd were married last Saturday. We could not have asked for a better day for an outside wedding. They were married at Dove Lane Lake. A beautiful heart shaped lake own by Todd Aunt and Uncle. They had their reception at Elite Catering and they had a Dave’s Bakery cake. I love Dave’s Bakery. As always, the staff at Elite did a superb job on the food and service. Becca and her family did the decorations at the lake and at Elite. The absolutely gorgeous flowers were done by June’s Touch of Class. Loved the fall colors. Their DJ was Ace Entertainment. To view their preview slide show click here. Kamilah is a member of MOPS and gets a lot of support from her MOPS Moms. Well, to show their support for her in this battle they all dyed their hair pink. We met in Central Park for a portrait. Here is Kamilah and her “Pink Posse.”
I absolutely love it when I get to have a romance session with a bride and groom. Romance sessions are session conducted after the wedding day. I like to do them as soon after the wedding as possible. Since I was staying at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park and so were they, we had the perfect opportunity. Here are a few of my favorites. Thank you Jemma and Matt for getting up early the next morning.
Jemma and Matthew are married! It was perfect. They were married in Buckhorn, Kentucky in the Buckhorn Lake Area Presbyterian Church. The church is a log cabin church that is over 100 years old and there is no heat or A/C. So many places for pictures. So many ideas. They even have bats in their balcony. The reception was held at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park and was decorated by the awesome Michelle and Jamie of Signature Events in Pikeville, Kentucky. They really out did themselves on this one. Amazing! The resort catered the wedding and Martine’s Pastries in Lexington, Kentucky made the cake. It was absolutely stunning as well. Everything just fit together so perfectly.
