Todd and Becca are getting married in October. I had a blast with them. We were so fortunate that our session was scheduled during our break in the heatwave. It was a nice and low humidity evening. Thanks guys and I can’t wait for your wedding. I hope the weather is just as cooperative. To view their slide show click here.

December 25, 2009

To your families from my family.

Nicole and Rickey are getting married in September and I am so excited. They are getting married at Wildwood Park and I am sure it will be a beautiful outdoor wedding. So, in keeping with the outdoor theme we did their engagement session at Lake Vesuvius in Ironton, Ohio. To view their engagement slide show click here: Here are a few of my favorites.

Sara: I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the pictures AND the people :)

For the last couple of years I have had a blast photographing Cyndi’s Studio’s team and recital pictures. We completed the team pictures and still have the recital pictures left photograph. I couldn’t resist the tempation to share some from the team pictures.

To learn more about classes offered at Cyndi’s Studio give Cyndi a call at 740-532-1381.

Ivan: Very nice. I heard you talking on the phone about this shoot and I'm glad that you shared it with us. Love the posing/stacking and background.

I spent last week photographing dance pictures for Cyndi’s Studio in Ironton, Ohio. Since I was alredy set up we were able to sneak in a quick session for Cyndi and her sister Teresa.

Last Thursday, March 5, 2009 the brave men and women of the 201st EN BT Kentucky National Guard unit came home. There were at least 3,000+ people there to welcome them home and I had the honor of trying to capture the emotions and some of the reunions as a member of Operation Love Reunited. The energy that this crowd exuded was contagious. I found myself getting as excited as the women that I was following. I found myself waiting for the cell phone updates on their route and locations. It was amazing to me to see all of these families united in one common bond. The love they have for their soldiers and the desire to have them home and in their waiting arms. I am still in awe and proud. To view the slide showsclick here and click here, let the slide shows load. Here are a few of my favorites. Let the page load because there are a lot of pictures.

Thank you to Courtney, Aimee, Carrie, Mary and Angela inviting me to be there when the loves of your lives came home.

Mary Skeens: Thank you for coming and sharing this very special moment with us. Your work is wonderful and greatly appreciated.

Ivan Watkins: Teresa, please take me seriously when I say this. Strongly considering if the Associated Press will buy one of your prints. I know a guy that shot some pictures just like this and he got paid $10,000 ten thousand for the use of his photos. You might want to just see if it is a possibility.

Class of 2009

Meet Lori’s kids. Lori wanted some updated photos of her kids so we met on Shawnee States campus and had some fun. She also wanted a special collage of her daughter doing a round and several somersaults. This girl is good. Enjoy.

annette moore: Teresa, so sorry to hear about your granny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this terrible time in your life. You know God just needed a special flower for his bouquet. Hang in there!!

OK, so I am obviously playing catch up with my posting.  These are things we did and pictures I took that I just never found time to share.  So, I am sharing now.  In October we decided to have a “mini vacation” weekend in Columbus, Ohio.  We had never been to the Columbus Zoo, so we went.  Here are some of my favorites from that day.  It was absolutely perfect.  It wasn’t too hot, it wasn’t packed, the animals were out and people were friendly.  The only issue we had was it was off season so most of the vendors and shops were closed.
