Thirteen Years Ago Today…

December 31, 2007

I married my soul mate.

We have both changed and grown so much but a few things have been constant throughout the years; our connection to each other and our love.  Thank you Paul for changing my life forever.

Laura: Happy Anniversary Teresa!!

Allison: you were both hot then and still are! Congrats to you both!! I love your wedding picture

Paige: OMG that is one awesome photo! Congratulations!

Angela: Wow, those were the days! I can honestly say that looking at this picture took me way back to the beginning of OBP times, you know what I mean, before the Community Center and all. Thank you for being such a good friend. Friends til we die! Luv ya!

Emily 6 Months

December 24, 2007

OK, so as it turns out, Shelly’s family was not my last portrait session of the year.  I had one last one yesterday.  It was a last minute session and how could I resist.  It was Emily and as you can see from her first session to her second session and this session; she sure has changed. to view her entire online gallery click here.

And finally, we always end the session with a shot in this chair to show her growth.

Shelly’s Family

December 22, 2007

This was my last family portrait session for 2007 and I can’t imagine a better family to end out my year.  They were absolutely fabulous.  They laughed and teased each other and made this one of my more memorable sessions.  I laughed so hard with them that it truly made time fly.  To view their online gallery click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thank you Shelly and family for helping to round a great year.

My First Billboard

December 21, 2007

No, not for my business but for another business.  But my image.  So, I was driving on US 23 toward Russell when I noticed a billboard with a picture that I recognized.  This one!

This is my official billboard.  I had to take a picture with my point and shoot camera as that was all that I had with me but I was so excited.  This is the billboard for Porter Chiropractic, located at 717 Wheatley Road Ashland, Kentucky.  To reach Dr. Porter call 606-329-1148.  He plans to do two more billboards with my pictures.  I will blog them when I see them.  Thank you Dr. Porter.

Laura: How exciting!! Congrats. :)

paige stevens buchbinder: OMWord! That is so awesome!!!! Congrats!

Ivan Watkins: That is super cool. Major Kudos to you for this achievement. Keep up the good work.. you're an inspiration to me.

Checking Things Off My List

December 17, 2007

Every year I make homemade candy and we give it to co-workers, teachers and family friends as gifts.  Normally, I would have done this a few weeks ago but since I have been so busy capturing memories for all of my wonderful customers I haven’t had time (this is not a bad thing).  Well, tonight I made myself do it.  Actually, I didn’t have a choice.  Tomorrow is the last day of school and I still needed to get my teacher’s gifts together.  I made milk chocolate covered pretzel rods, white chocolate covered pretzel rods, red and green (white chocolate colored with food coloring) covered pretzel rods, butterscotch haystacks (chow mein noodles covered in melted butterscotch) and white chocolate haystacks and finally peanut butter balls (AKA buckeyes).  I made milk chocolate and white chocolate buckeyes.  I took over the dining room table.  I had to grab a few pictures.  Enjoy.  Unfortunately some of the white chocolate pretzel rods didn’t make it.  My family made off with about 10 of them.

OACHE – KnowHow2GoOhio

December 17, 2007

On December 6, 2007 OACHE, The Ohio Appalachian Center for Higher Education, held it’s kick off for KnowHow2GoOhio . In their ongoing mission to increase the college going rate for Appalachian Ohio, OACHE has joined with numerous public and private organizations in Jackson County Ohio to encourage and equip more students with the tools they will need to not only go to college but to also succeed in college.  It was a great way to kick off the campaign and generate even more excitement. Here are a few images from that day.  To view a gallery with more images click here.

The Fergusons

December 14, 2007

I had the chance to capture a few holiday memories for the Ferguson family.  Here are a few of my favorites.  To view their entire web gallery click here.

I know you won’t recognize this little lady or her parents, but this Audrey.  You can see some of her newborn pictures click here.

And then I got to really capture some memories.  They had a pre-Christmas gift opening.

I love this shot.  It looks very similiar to a wedding shot that I took of Bob and Cristen, Audrey’s mom and dad.

This is not the shat that I was thinking of but it still shows the love.

paige stevens buchbinder: Wonderful! Keep up the documentation of this family, the images will be cherished for ever. Paige
