Josh and Christina are getting married November 2008.  We met at Lake Vesuvius in Ironton, Ohio.  It was a hot but beautiful day with blue skies and fluffy white clouds.  They were naturals in front of the camera.  They laughed and joked and we had fun.  I can’t wait to see what they bring to their wedding portraits.  To view their slide show click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

Kaila and Joe are getting married September 2008.  Kaila is Kamilah’s sister just in case you think you recognize her. We met at Carter Caves for their engagement session.  They even got a little wet at the end.  It was fun.  The water was so cold which was nice on a 90 degree day.  To view their slide show click here.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Jeremy and Maria are getting married May 2009.  We did their engagement session on his family’s property.  It was so nice.  There was lots of land, a pond that his mom landscaped, horses, a sunset and a big rock with a tree growing through it (where he proposed).  Talk about variety. Katie and Michael are getting married July 2009.  If you folllow my blog you will recognize both of them from a recent wedding.  Michael is Kelsey’s brother.  Kelsey and Kevin were married in June of this year.  Katie was a bridesmaid in Kevin and Kelsey’s wedding.  I love it when this happens.  I get to see them all again next summer.  To see their engagement slide show click here.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks you two.  I had so much fun and can’t wait for your wedding next year.

Drew and Tracey were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony along the banks of the Ohio River in Huntington, West Virginia.  The ceremony and reception took place at the Huntington YMCA Kennedy Center.  I had the great pleasure of working with the Wedding Team once again.  Krissy and Heather were great from the planning of the wedding to decorating the venue and even making the flowers.  To view their preveiw slide show click here.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Paul: Never posted how proud I am of you. I'm lucky to be married to such a talented, artsy, babe... emphasis on the babe.

Last weekend I photographed Brooke and Brad’s wedding on Saturday in Louisville, KY and since I was spending the night and going to be there, I met Elizabeth and Steven the next morning to photograph their engagement session in Cherokee Park.  What a beautiful park.  If you ever in Louisville, Kentucky and are looking for a place to exercise or just chill in the grass, you have to go to Cherokee Park.  It was a great morning and they are a great couple.  Wow, I had so much fun and to top it all off, they played in the sprinklers at the end.  They actually got pretty wet knowing they had no change of clothing.  That was so cool.  To view their engagement slide show click here.  Here are a few of my favorites.

I entered an international wedding photography competition at Wedcomp.  They had hundreds of entries in four categories.  Getting ready, portraits, ceremony and reception.  The judges selected the top 25 from each category.  I am excited to announce that I won in two of those categories.  To see all of the winners click here.  Here are my winning entries.

This picture taken at Justin and Jennifer’s wedding on July 7, 2007 won “first” place in the getting ready category.

and this picture taken at Jerome and Lalicia’s wedding in May 24, 2008 won 13th place in the ceremony category.

To say I am excited would be an understatement.  I am beyond thrilled.  I have worked really hard to develop my skills and it has taken me four years to get to this point.  I just want to say thank you to the judges who selected these images to reperesent some of the best wedding photography in the world.  And thank you to my wedding clients for allowing me to there on your special days to capture moments like these.

Regina: CONGRATULATIONS! ! ! ! ! ! ! I am so happy for you. I tell everyone about you and that you are the bomb photographer. Again congratulations and keep up the excellent work. God bless.

Jessica Samons: Congratulations Teresa!! The photos are beautiful and you are an excellent photographer! Jessica & John

Paul: Hey, never really posted how proud I am of you. You are the bomb wife, a great photographer, and hottest woman on the planet.

Brad and Brooke were married this past weekend.  What a beautiful location, ceremony and people.  They held their wedding and reception at the Henry Clay in Louisville, Kentucky.  Brooke, her mom and dad decorated the whole room.  Her mom and dad made all of the draperies and their mounts.  Brooke’s dad even rigged the lighted “S” above the altar.  This was a fun and sad wedding for me.  This was the last of a great group of girl friends to get married.  If you have been following my blog for any amount of time, this is the fourth time that you have seen Brooke on my blog and website.  She was a bridesmaid at Kim and Jacob’s wedding in October 2007 and then the maid of honor at Jessica and John’s wedding in June 2008 and of course their engagement session.  So, I was a little sad to know that this is the last wedding. To view their preview slide show click here.  Here are a few of my favorites from that day.

And finally, a shot of me with all of them, Brooke, Brittany, Kim and Jessica.
