Class of 2009

Last Thursday, March 5, 2009 the brave men and women of the 201st EN BT Kentucky National Guard unit came home. There were at least 3,000+ people there to welcome them home and I had the honor of trying to capture the emotions and some of the reunions as a member of Operation Love Reunited. The energy that this crowd exuded was contagious. I found myself getting as excited as the women that I was following. I found myself waiting for the cell phone updates on their route and locations. It was amazing to me to see all of these families united in one common bond. The love they have for their soldiers and the desire to have them home and in their waiting arms. I am still in awe and proud. To view the slide showsclick here and click here, let the slide shows load. Here are a few of my favorites. Let the page load because there are a lot of pictures.

Thank you to Courtney, Aimee, Carrie, Mary and Angela inviting me to be there when the loves of your lives came home.

Mary Skeens: Thank you for coming and sharing this very special moment with us. Your work is wonderful and greatly appreciated.

Ivan Watkins: Teresa, please take me seriously when I say this. Strongly considering if the Associated Press will buy one of your prints. I know a guy that shot some pictures just like this and he got paid $10,000 ten thousand for the use of his photos. You might want to just see if it is a possibility.

Class of 2009

Meet Lori’s kids. Lori wanted some updated photos of her kids so we met on Shawnee States campus and had some fun. She also wanted a special collage of her daughter doing a round and several somersaults. This girl is good. Enjoy.

annette moore: Teresa, so sorry to hear about your granny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this terrible time in your life. You know God just needed a special flower for his bouquet. Hang in there!!

Paul: She's a doll baby!
