Tracie and Frank are married. They got married in Beckley, WV at the Heart of God Ministries. They had their reception at the absolutely beautiful Tamarack. Tamarack was also the caterer and it was yummy. Valerie Hughes was their wedding planner and did an absolutely beautiful job on the reception. The flowers were beautiful too. Flowers by Nancy in Beckley did an amazing job. The DJ, Brian Nabors, did a fabulous job mixing old school with the new and Classic Limousine provided transportation from the Church to Tamarack. They had cupcakes. Lots and lots of cupcakes for their wedding cake done by Black Knight Country Club and Chef Michael. To see their preview slide show click here. Here are a few of my favorites.

On Monday September 13th some of Kamilah’s friends and family got together to show her that we are all here for her as she fights this fight.

This is Cristen. I was going to say meet Cristen but if you have been following my blog for a few years, then you already know her or at least have seen her. Cristen has cancer. To be more specific, she has colon cancer. When she asked me to document her journey/fight against cancer while she “lives” with cancer I agreed but thought I would only blog or share the images from the family portrait sessions. Well, Cristen told me to blog them all because “this is what cancer looks like.” So, I am going to share some images first from her second chemo treatment. This is her second round of chemo as her cancer came back. She is amazing. I mean absolutely amazing. She laughs openly and freely and smiles. She has so much hope and faith. That when I leave her I feel better and hopeful about what ever petty thing is going on in my life. I am hoping that sharing these will help someone else. There will be more pictures as take more.
